- The watch making cities of La Chaux-de-Fonds has received recognition from UNESCO for its exceptional universal value. Most famous native sons of La Chaux-de-Fonds are the architect Le Corbusier, Louis Chevrolet, founder of the Chevrolet Motor Car Company.
The central avenue of the city is named after painter Louis-Leopold Robert but the locals call the street simply “Le Pod”.

- Englischer Garten – There are plenty of bridlepaths in the park, but I haven’t see a single equestrian. When I was there last they didn’t look very well used – perhaps the horses were away on holiday.

- The photo was taken from the new Museum of Art Lucerne situated on the fourth floor of the Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre (KKL) – right under the big roof, above the Lucerne Hall and the Conference spaces.
The KKL Luzern at Europaplatz is the work of the Parisian architect Jean Nouvel.
