  • Personal note by Owen Watkins

Dating from the 12th century, this was originally part of a much larger Norman church. The rest of the structure succumbed to bad weather and lack of money, and the present church is merely the choir of the original building.

It is also where my wife and I were married.

    wonderful angle and framing!
    a picturesque capture!

It must have been a majestic building.
    Now it’s quaint and romantic.
    Medieval structures are fascinating!
