    61 meters high, this “sky scraper” built between 1929 and 1931 houses the Métropole hall. In 1992, Maurice Béjart discovered this magnificent disused theatre and contributed to its salvation by staging his productions.

    The Escalier du Marché staircase is part of the Chemin de Saint-Jacques, the pilgrims’ way from central Europe to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. On the staircase down from the Cathedral is located the “Chocolaterie “Le Barbare”. The hot chocolate is renowned through out Switzerland (a serious compliment in the land of chocolate)

    The bridge Bessières was built in 1908 and measures 120 metres. Since 2008, the bridge accommodates a station of the brand new subway m2.

    Ouchy is a commune, port, and popular lakeside resort located south of the city of Lausanne in Switzerland at the edge of the Lake Léman (Lake Geneva).
    The incredible views of the lake and the Alps, and the cooler air in summer have made Ouchy a popular place especially in the summer months. There is a major cluster of hotels and restaurants around the port.
    Every on Sunday from 19.04.2009 till 04.10.2009 is held in Ouchy the Sunday market from 08h to 20h.
